It's the week of Independence Day - prime time for patriotism and celebrating freedom.

 

Ironically, as we celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, many of us are concerned that we are losing many freedoms even as we celebrate.

 

We think, most recently, of the Supreme Court's decision on homosexual marriage which threatens our First Amendment rights to free speech and free exercise of religion. Then there is the newly revealed information regarding the NSA's disturbing access to citizens' phone records and metadata. And the FBI's wiretapping of journalists. And the Benghazi cover-up.

 

Long story short, it is becoming less easy to trust a government that supposedly is "by the people" and "for the people."

 

But, we still love this country. We look at the history and heritage of our nation. We study the vision that America's founders had for men and women to be free to worship God and better their situation. We can see all the ways that America has made the world a better place through technology and medicine and information and, even more so, through the blood that Americans have left in foreign sod to help others win freedom, too. In spite of its flaws, America is worth celebrating and we long for a day when we can accomplish great things again.

 

What is frustrating is to know what America needs to be great again, not just economically or militarily, but morally. Yet, we see that our leaders are doing the exact opposite. Our borders are wide open, leaving us open to attack; we no longer motivate people to work hard and be the best they can be, we just hand them a check; we kill unwanted babies with the excuse that, because they are still in the womb, they aren't human; and now we have taken it upon ourselves to attempt to reengineer God's design for marriages.

 

And what can we do? We get to vote once every four years, but the country is already barely recognizable from only a few years ago. We can accost our friends and neighbors with depressing news, hoping that inspires them to get involved, but that often just results in them avoiding us in the grocery store.

 

Of course it's important to vote and to inform our peers, but that can only be so effective.

It's my belief that we neglect the most effective tool we have, or we pin it onto the end of the list, because we're Christians and we have to say it somewhere.

 

And, of course, I mean prayer. How many times have we heard or said, "Well, all we can do is pray."

All we can do is pray? We have a direct line to literally the only Person who can make the radical changes we fight for in culture, but, somehow, talking to Him is often done only as an obligation.

 

This is as much a challenge to myself as it is to any readers. I have done a pitiful job of praying for our nation like I should, and I'm sure there are a lot of readers who are real prayer warriors for America, but I think I'm not the only one who has had a very upside down perspective on praying for our country and its leadership. And, by His grace, I intend to do better.

 

So if you find yourself at the corner of feeling patriotic and mourning for the direction the nation is going, talk to the Only One who can do something about it.

Two American Veterans Plan and Start Freedom Walk From California to Washington D.C.

In a remarkable display of patriotism, two American veterans are walking from San Diego, California to Washington D.C. in a fight for freedom and with a plan to bring Americans together beyond party lines.
Jerry C. Oliver, a veteran of Vietnam and Mark T. Lanham, a veteran of the Gulf War, have set off from San Diego, California and have crossed through Arizona on their trek to Washington D.C.
A Mission Statement posted on the their website outlines the reasons for this extraordinary walk across the country:

In the game of life you are either in the bleachers or you are on the playing field. It is not the critic who counts. No, the credit belongs to the American who takes a stand for a cause higher than themselves.
Some may see me as an old man, but I have a voice and I will be heard. At least I am doing something. There is the “Power of 1” and that power is in each of us. Freedom does not trickle down, it rises up, but Washington is just not listening to the People! If we want America to remain to be free then we must act now.
We walk for freedom because we have a voice and Washington is now going to hear our voices. There is a dismantling of the constitution and if we don’t walk then nothing happens. If we do walk then D.C. must take warning that Americans are tired of being ignored. As Thomas Jefferson said, “It is our duty to question our government and public officials”.
Our petitions to the government have been ridiculed and rejected. We have sent letters, made telephone calls, sent e-mails, performed marches and rallies and still the people are scorned by the distant government in D.C. regardless which political party is in power.
The American flag will be carried from San Diego, California to Washington, D.C. in remembrance of all Americans who gave some and some Americans who gave all.
We do not profess any ideology, political party or particular issue by reason we believe Americans should be shaking hands instead of shaking fists and that we need to stop our government from dividing us into small groups. While we may disagree on certain issues there is common ground that we can all unite under. FREEDOM. It’s Solidarity time.
I dare to be brave and I ask you to also to be brave by showing your support for the freedoms that our constitution defends. The time is now to rise to a higher cause than ourselves.
You are asked to join the walk to D.C. and defend your freedoms. We cannot all be a George Washington, but we can all be patriots. You are the Power of 1. We are the masters of our lives not the government. The government is here for our convenience…we are not here for the government’s convenience because we created the government…the government did not create us.
This is a freedom walk. These are historical times so become a part of history. Action speaks louder than words so join me, even for just a mile, in the Support of the U.S. Constitution. Walk with us.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am honored to be here tonight to share with you some of my thoughts on whether being an American has any meaning anymore.  As I look out over this audience, what is visible to me are men, women and children with different faces, different body sizes, different genders and different clothes.  What I cannot see are your strongly held beliefs, your daily habits, or how you get along with those around you, at home, at work, or at play.  I have no idea how well you did in school in your early years, how your parents treated you, who your friends were, who you were attracted to, what you liked to do, or who you liked or didn't like.   In fact, it is none of my business to know these things."

 

"However, human nature being what it is, I can make educated judgments about such things because I know a little bit about human nature, not as a psychologist or as a psychiatrist, but as an observant individual of average intellect, having lived for 75 years.  I can say with certainty that there has been some strife and adversity in your life.  You have had to meet challenges, either individually, or as a family, or as a group.  Much of that adversity comes because of your strongly held beliefs that aren't necessarily compatible with those you deal with on a daily basis.  We all know that siblings fight and we all know that parents get to be referees, or benevolent dictators, which ever works the best."

 

"We all know that husbands and wives fight over major things and more often, minor things.  After being married for 50 years, my wife still gets after me because I won't put my dirty dishes in the dishwasher.  I rinse them though."

 

"Human beings, like all creatures, are generally selfish.  They want what they want and they want to get what they want, no matter whom or what is in the way, because that describes being a living creature.   Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your perspective, there are all kinds of things or people in your way.   This isn't rocket science.  It is generally known by just about everyone, either consciously, or intuitively.  Which leads me to my little black box theory."

 

"Several years ago and based on knowledge, experience and observations, I developed a theory about mental processes, biases and deep-seated beliefs of the general population.  I called this theory, the "Little Black Box" theory.  Some of you may have heard me talk or write about it before.  This theory applies across the board to almost everything we believe in and everything we do in our lives.  It is inescapable and what is in the "Little Black Box" determines, to a large degree, how our lives will turn out.  It determines our thoughts, religious beliefs, sexual proclivities, our fears, our strengths, our weaknesses, our successes or failures and even our political persuasions.  The content of the "Little Black Box" and thus a person's point of reference, begins to fill up at a very early age and the person is not aware, nor do they have any control of what is going into it, because it is determined by their early environment, along with a dash of their biological parent's genetics and how they are treated by their parents and the siblings with which they live."   

 

"People behave in direct proportion to the content of the "Little Black Box" and in most cases they are not aware that they are behaving in this manner.  To them it is perfectly normal.  In fact, what is in the "Little Black Box" defines who they are early on in their lives ..... that is, according to my "Little Black Box" theory.  Changes to the content of the "Little Black Box" rarely occur throughout a person's lifetime.  When they do occur, it is almost always the result of some revelation, a violent act or accident, overpowering new information, (true or false) or an epiphany."

 

"The theory is especially applicable to how people believe and act in the area of religious faith.  The same is true for political leanings and biases.  It is intuitive then to say that, if you are born into a Democrat family, you will most likely remain a Democrat for the rest of your life, without any regard to the substance of what is meant by being a Democrat.   It is equally true for Republicans, or independents.  I call it blind party affiliation by virtue of a person's early environment."

 

"If you are born into a poor family, you are likely to remain poor.  If you are born into a wealthy and privileged family, you are quite likely to follow the path of wealth and privilege.  There are many exceptions of course."

 

"For this reason, people are very selective about what they listen to, watch and read.  They virtually always listen to, watch and read about issues that are compatible and aligned with what is in their "Little Black Box".   They analyze everything they see, hear and read in the context of their "Little Black Box".  It is not a choice they make consciously.  It is pre-determined and pre-programmed for them long before the age of consent.  No matter how convincing an argument you make to another person, they will almost always yield to what is in their "Little Black Box" before all else, even if it defies principle, logic, reason and/or even common sense."

 

"At his point you are asking yourself, OK, what has this got to do with whether being an American has any meaning?  It has everything to do with it because it explains why we have differences.   In general, it explains why we as a country are so divided and why being an American takes a back seat to what divides us.  It is those very differences and divisions that are causing the problems we face in America today.  But it is equally true that if we are divided, those that govern us will also be divided.  A divided government is a recipe for disaster, as has been playing out before our very eyes over the last 50 years.  However, it is equally true that a united government could also lead to disaster if those that are united in government stray away from the principles of what makes us Americans."

 

"However, ladies and gentlemen, as I look out over this audience tonight it may not be readily apparent to everyone, but we do have one very important thing in common.  We are all Americans in spite of our divisions, at least I hope that everyone in this audience is an American.  We were born on free soil.  We are endowed with certain unalienable rights.  Some call those rights our gift from God.  Still others call them natural rights that inure to the benefit of all living creatures that government cannot take away.  We are all Americans and that does mean something.  Let that sink in for a minute."

 

"You did not create you.  In the beginning you had no control over the mechanisms that formed the shape of your body, the characteristics of your personality or your mind, or the capabilities that were granted to your body and mind by virtue of genetics and life with or without your parents.  But no matter what anyone tells you, you were not created to serve others, unless it is your choice to do so.  In fact, you were created to express who you are as an individual.  You were created to serve yourself and those you love, or care about, not by force but by free choice.  Anything else is tyranny."

 

"You are unique, a snowflake, one of a kind and no other person can be like you now, in the past, or in the future.  It is your individual uniqueness that is your value.  It is what you express or achieve as a person, that is your mark, your legacy and your reason for being here.  No other person, group of persons, or a government has the right to take that from you.  You are not a pawn you are sovereign under the supreme law of nature.  You are free to choose good or evil.  If you choose good over evil there will be rewards.  If however, you choose evil, there will be a price to pay."

 

"This great land called America is as unique as you are.   It is one of a kind, exceptional, a snowflake, when America is compared to other cultures or nations.  Its unique form of government allows individuals to fully express who they are.  Under our Constitutional Republic an individual can be just about anything they want to be, provided they have the necessary drive, the ambition and the work ethic.  A free America provides opportunities that can't be found in hardly any other country, even today."

 

"But because of our divisions we have taken our eyes off of the ball.  Instead of keeping our eyes on the lookout for our ever-present enemies, foreign or domestic, we fight amongst each other over the "spoils" of government and ignore the axiom that says a government left unto itself will morph into a dictatorship.  We are being conned and lied to by the current government for evil purposes, on a whole range of issues that have a direct affect on our freedom." 

 

"There is a story that is told often to prove some kind of a point that tells of a neighbor who has heard sounds of a heated argument in the house next door.  Afraid that bodily harm might come to one of the occupants, the neighbor calls the police.  Two squad cars pull up to the house of the warring spouses and four officers approach the front door.  All of a sudden two windows open up on the house and two guns are pointed at the officers.  One of the officers asks, 'Hey what's going on in there?'  One of the spouses responds with, 'Can't a husband and wife have a little fight now and then without the police poking their nose into our business?'"

 

"On September 11, 2001 a radical, foreign ideology violently poked its nose into America's business and 3,000 Americans died in the collapse of the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington DC.  Suddenly, united Americans were the ones poking the guns out the window at the enemy and we went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan.  For a few months after 9/11 we were Americans again, but alas, it didn't last."

 

"Today our real enemy does not confront us from foreign shores, although the threat lingers on the horizon.  Our real enemy is that which divides us and makes us cast aside the political foundation that preserves our liberty and protects our freedom.  "The Parallax Prophecies" predicts that if Americans do not set aside their differences and come together, America has no chance to continue as a free nation.  We will become like so many other third-world countries where the people are more interested in getting something for free from government, no matter who has to pay for it.  We will have let our government convince us that we are but helpless victims and need mother government to take care of us, instead of being proud, self-reliant, responsible, free and sovereign Americans.  And one thing is for sure.  If we are divided as a nation, we will not be able to effectively confront the determined foreign enemies that are approaching our shores from the East and from the West."

 

"It does mean something to be an American because in America, it is the natural, unalienable, God-given rights of the individual that sets us apart from all other nations on earth.  It is the combined power of individual Americans that have freed over a billion people from brutal dictators and despots.  It is the combined power of individual Americans that have created America's unprecedented military might.  It is the combined power of individual Americans that grow the food that feeds our nation and a good portion of the people in other countries.  It is the combined power of free and generous individual Americans that have opened their wallets and their hearts to the people of other nations who have suffered the indignities, the injuries, the disease and death from natural disasters around the world.  It is the combined power of individual Americans working alone or with others, that have created the highest standard of living anywhere on the planet.  It is the combined power of individual Americans that have developed the technologies and medical break throughs that have not only made our own lives healthier and easier, but have saved countless millions in developing countries.  It is the combined power of individual Americans that have created the greatest wealth the world has ever known and from that wealth we have been able to fund all of the great things that we do as free Americans and as a nation."

 

"America has nothing to apologize for and every American has every reason to be proud for being part of and contributing to the land of free individuals with unalienable rights and the home of the brave who put their lives on the line to preserve that freedom and those unalienable rights."

 

There are two kinds of people in America, those that want something from government and those that want to be left alone by government to live out their lives in freedom.  It is this difference that divides us.  Those with the most votes determine the direction of America, either for the benefit of a free America, or the establishment of an enslaved America.  If we are divided as a people and as a nation and will not unite on the principles that made us free, enslavement can be our only future."

 

"Yes, it does mean something to be an American, but it won't mean anything if we remain divided.

 

If we want to save America from destroying itself from within, we had better start thinking AS Americans and acting LIKE Americans.  Only then can we be victorious over the twin, corrupt evils of power and money, in the hands of men and women who have no honor, either foreign or domestic."

Would you see your children

Condemned to slavery

When there was a chance

You could save them?

Would you deny them victory?

Would you deny your family freedom?

 

 

You cannot fight an enemy if you cannot see him.  You have no defense if you are surrounded in darkness but your enemy controls the light.  You have no options if you cannot pierce the veil of your enemy's deceit.  There is absolutely no defense if you cloak yourself in ignorance, or convince yourself that the enemy is not there.  But rest assured, the enemy is lurking just outside your door and your door will not protect you or your children from him coming inside and destroying your blind tranquility that you thought was freedom.   The American government is now all-powerful.  They own the law and the capability to enforce it, by whatever means and they are determined to do it.

 

That enemy is knocking on your door right now but you don't know it, or choose to ignore it.  And if you don't open it, the enemy will break the door down and come in anyway.  They will take your children away and put them in government-run indoctrination and propaganda schools.  But wait a minute! They have already taken your children away and are now indoctrinating them in government-run indoctrination and propaganda schools, or didn't you know that?  The difference is you have willingly given your children to the state and are exposing them to that indoctrination and propaganda without so much as a whimper in opposition.

 

Would you be a slave

In your own land

When once you were free?

Would you bow down

To tyrants like Obama

Rather than defending liberty?

 

Many years ago, as we entered the 20th Century, we were a different stock of people.  We were defiant in our freedom and we rejected or purged what we considered infringements on that freedom.  We didn't let important things slide or look the other way like we do now.  The truth is, had government instituted all the laws and restrictions it has now placed on the people of America, but they had done it 100 years ago, there would have been a revolution that would have made the American Revolution and the Civil War pale in comparison. 

 

In the late 1700's the government instituted a whiskey tax, which erupted into the Whiskey Rebellion where many tax collectors were either killed or tarred and feathered.  In those days, violence against government agents and sympathizers was quite common when the people thought their freedoms were under attack.   Throughout the years of taming the West, frontier justice was applied regularly.  Scores and injustices were settled with weapons, not words, or courts.

 

Would you hide in the shadows

When your duty was quite clear?

Would you shrink from the battle

Because you are paralyzed with fear?

 

Now, the people have allowed government to become so powerful, the people fear it's wrath.  We have let frontier justice, wherein we did not fear government, morph into absolute power by government in a police state where we are deathly afraid of government.   People are hesitant to raise their heads above the noise level for fear it could be chopped off, figuratively speaking of course.  Our lives are comfortable and we are very reticent about upsetting our precarious apple cart.  But those who fall afoul of the law through no fault of their own cannot escape the long hand of government by hiding in the shadows.  They become sacrificial lambs to government's power and those in close proximity to the victim scurry for cover, saying to themselves "..... thank God it wasn't me".  This is equivalent to running from the battlefield while the real heroes hold the enemy at bay, or advance upon the enemy.

 

Is it true you are just a coward

And afraid to be free?

Do you tremble in the darkness

While on your bended knee?

 

Are we so afraid to defend our freedoms that we will wait until the jack booted thugs break down our door and take us and our children away because we violated some law in a million laws of which we had no knowledge?  Do we fear authority so much that we now won't question any authority?  Are we not of the same lineage of those that gave their lives to preserve our freedom for the last 236 years?  Does not the blood of patriots run through our veins?  Or, has our collective American blood turned to jelly?  We don't think so!

 

Will you instead gather up your bravery

And join the fearless in our midst?

Will you save America from slavery

While shaking a determined fist?

 

Will you use the intellect God gave you,

And apply it to the fight?

Will you heed the haunting cry

To set our country right?

 

Ladies and gentlemen, we don't have to resort to frontier justice ".... to set our country right."  The tools to win were handed down to us from our Founding Fathers in the form of a Constitution that took our natural, God-given, individual rights and codified them into the law of man.  All we need is the courage to fearlessly proceed under those essential tools of freedom and restore the vision of those great men for our time and our children and grandchildren's time, unless we cower in fear, or refuse to challenge authority because of that fear.  In a Constitutional Republic, the people have the power but only if they choose to exercise that power.

The other night, as we bed down, 6 lines of a poem literally popped into our mind and we got up and wrote them down.  The next day we finished the poem, lines of which we have inserted in this article.  The entire poem is entitled: "Would You .....?".  In the hopes that this poem would provide inspiration to those who are on the fence about defending freedom for their children and grandchildren, we set the poem to music and a video of images of freedom and slavery and uploaded the video to Youtube.  The last stanza of the poem goes like this:

 

So we ask each freedom-loving American,

Will you settle for chains and slavery

Or will you get up off your can,

And engage in the fight for liberty?

 

 

The question is: "Would You .....?", or "Will You .....?".  If you don't, you may very likely condemn your children and grandchildren to slavery.

I don't need government to tell me...

"The Parallax Prophecies" predicts that as the weak among us grow and they are growing, we will reach a point where their weakness will trigger our eventual demise.  The horizon of that demise looms ever closer in the distance.  That Obama was re-elected to a 2nd term is direct evidence that our weakness as a people and as a nation is growing at an increasing pace.

Ladies and gentlemen, so often we forget the foundation of our individual freedoms and their origins.  When we forget those origins as a result of apathy, ignorance, or cowardice, we easily let freedom and even life slip away, as we are doing today in America.

We will sum up our philosophy of individual freedom and survival in one sentence, "I don't need government to tell me that I AM FREE and as required of me by nature, I will use whatever means necessary, peaceful or by force, to preserve my property, my life and my freedom from all who would attempt to unreasonably limit them, or try to take them from me!"

Last Chance To Save Our Constitution!

It took two centuries for our Founders to finalize our Constitution and Bill of Rights,  the chief objective of which was to limit government involvement in our lives while allowing We the People to fulfill our dreams made possible by natural freedoms endowed upon us by our Divine Creator.    Every point of the Constitution was the subject of great debate until there was near unanimous majority for  the final form which found a happy medium away from the extremes of anarchy and tyranny.   This was accomplished by creation of three branches of government to ensure that no single branch could go unchecked and destroy our precious freedoms.   Over the past two hundred years America has been the beacon of freedom and free enterprise and thereby the majority of inventions ranging from homes to automobiles to electricity to appliances to airplanes and ultimately spacecraft with the ability to place a man on the moon---and the list goes on ad infinitum.  

But now we have a problem:  a treasonous president elected by fools and who is an enemy of our Constitution and the concept of a government subservient to the People ( link 1 below—‘What if’ by Judge Andrew Napolitano).  Barack Obama  and his many socialist, Marxist and communist friends do not believe in government “of the people, by the people and for the people” but rather an all-powerful government which can control every facet of our lives---tyranny.  He talks and dresses to impress the the less educated and particularly immigrants who have no background in American history and how our founding documents set a path for American exceptionalism during the past two hundred plus years.  (for more insight I recommend the book The 5000 Year Leap by Skousen).  His pathological narcissistic personality combined with his schooling in Marxism and communism has led to his sharp focus on weakening a free America until it collapses in ruin.  Why?  That gives him and his minions the maximum opportunity take total control of our lives.  How?  By dividing the People along racial, ethnic and financial lines to create strife so that We the People take our eye off the beacon of Freedom.  Want proof?  Here are four short examples amongst many:

Obama started with Obamacare which is not about affordable health care at all,  but rather about government control of our lives.  Once the government controls healthcare it can control every facet of your life,  such as where and when you can travel, and even whether or not you can live or die.  Obamacare implements a flow chart of hundreds of  bureaucracies which place the patient and physician in the lower right and left hand corners with HHS in the middle of that chart.   The end result is a collapse of the best healthcare system in the world---the comparison stats are there for all to see.

Obama took advantage of his power to violate our constitutional rights and the rule of law by confiscation of ownership rights of bondholders of the auto industry, giving the assets to the Unions who supported him---a shot in the heart of free enterprise. 

Obama and Biden have committed treason against America by purposefully divulging top-secret national security information for their own personal and political gain,  thus resulting in the loss of lives amongst our military and erosion of our nation’s security.  The examples are too numerous to list here.

Obama used hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars without approval of the Congress to accomplish his personal agenda to fund training and weaponizing ‘rebels’ in many of the Islamic countries of the Middle East and Africa,  many of whom are Al-Qaeda (our enemies); and now we see the consequences of his policies as the entire region falls into chaos  and Americans are murdered without intervention by the Obama administration.  The goal?  To place Obama’s  Islamic friends---The Muslim Brotherhood---in charge of Islamic nations no matter the cost to America in dollars and blood.   Did the Congress authorize this?  An emphatic no!  There is no debate at this point that Barack Hussein Obama is a socialist Muslim as so well described by Nonie Darwish in her recent commentary which appeared in The American Thinker (2).  Ms. Darwish grew up in Egypt and lived in  the Middle East for 30 years before coming to America and converting from Islam to Christianity.  She explains that Obama,  as a Muslim,  would not dare issue an order which might result in the deaths of  Muslim attackers (of our CIA personnel) because according to Islamic doctrine,  one Muslim cannot kill another unless it is to defend the name of  Allah.    And then there is ‘Taqiyya’---meaning Muslims may lie to others if it helps them to achieve their long term goal of the global caliphate (of Islam) worldwide.   This is how Islamists have infiltrated the continent of Europe and now more forceful push to instill Sharia law in many of those nations.   Islam idolizes Allah and socialists are atheists;  a  combination of the two is the most dangerous threat to America and the religions of Christianity and Judaism.  Obama is that combination according to Ms. Darwish.   Need more evidence?  He allows members of the Muslim Brotherhood into the White House regularly as finding ways to empower them around the world.   This is what Obama has in store for America---believe it!  

If you want freedom guaranteed by the Constitution and a republic in which the rule of law prevails to protect those freedoms,  it is time to dethrone, indict and try the America-hater in the White House and his unconstitutional Czars and accomplices in high crimes against America.  This election finds America’s very tenets on the ropes.  Should we fail to preserve what many have fought and died for during the past 200 years,  We the People will be  enslaved by an all-powerful tyrannical totalitarian regime.    Is this what we want for ourselves and our children?

Yes, through our weekly column we have been advocating that Americans should openly, but peacefully, resist your arrogance and rising tyranny. Yes, we have been exposing your corruption, your double dealing, your passing laws no one has read or understands and your insidious violations of the constitution with executive orders and bureaucratic edicts ..... a constitution that you swear on solemn oath to preserve, protect and defend but don't. We've watched you nationalize the car industry, businesses and the health care system with no constitutional authority whatsoever. Yes, we have been logging your propaganda, hype, distortions and lies to push your un-American agenda down our throats and we have been observing, with a critical eye, your reckless and criminally negligent foreign policy that exacerbates the Islam crisis and caused the death of a highly respected diplomat and three other Americans in Libya at the hands of terrorist ..... and an equally negligent immigration policy that allows millions of illegal aliens to flood into America to get on the "free" government gravy train for which productive Americans get to fund, at the point of a "gun." It has not escaped our probing eyes the waste, fraud, abuse and corruption that exist in every single government program, squandering billions, if not trillions, of taxpayer dollars. And let's not forget your relentless pandering to those you have bought off with our money from the public treasury for their votes so that your power and corruption can be extended and institutionalized in perpetuity, from generation to generation.

We know you have the press in your pocket and you collude with them to filter the news so that you are presented to the public in a positive light. Even the presidential debates are rigged in favor of the Democrat candidate. If not, then how is it that the moderator, Candy Crowley, just happened to have the transcript of Obama's speech in the Rose Garden on the Bengazi attack in Libya? It was crystal clear from the video, that Obama knew that Crowley had the transcript, when he said "..... get the transcript." Blind luck? Hardly! Collusion? You bet!

We know that the truth is covered up or altered to fit a socialist, radical environmental, or one-world-order agenda. We know that there are wealthy socialists, like George Soros, that use that wealth to manipulate you, the press, academia, the people and special interests, for their own evil, anti-American ambitions. But even worse, you, the government, are aligned with these socialists.

Oh yes and we know you are watching us through your daily sweeping of our websites. We wouldn't be surprised if you have tapped our phone, or are monitoring our e-mail traffic. We expect that from a tyrannical government that uses fear, intimidation, spying and surveillance to control the population, not unlike Nazi Germany, Communist China, or a KGB dominated Russia.

But with all that stacked against us, we do not fear you and we will not bow down to you because we are on the right side of history and we are on the right side of freedom. What lies between you and absolute power over the masses is a little amendment to the Constitution. In fact, it is the second Amendment and because of the power of the second Amendment, you will not dominate us ..... ever! You will not crush us because we will rise up en masse and replace you, by force if you make it necessary. Why? Because America has the largest civilian army in the world and we have the power to do it, thanks to the Founding Fathers and our Constitution. Just the knowledge of that power is sufficient to accomplish our goal to preserve freedom and you know it. You and your anti-American actions are why militias are forming all over the country. That is why you want to disarm us. You rightly fear an armed population and Americans are the greatest armed population on the planet.

You can silence us but our voice will live on in the hundreds of articles we have written about you. You can haul us off and bury us in some dungeon but other voices of freedom will fill any gap we may have left behind.

Because you see, all you miscreants and brainwashed liberals that occupy the halls of government:

I am a free man in body and in spirit and I bow down to no one. Nor will I bow down to this government that tries to wrap us in chains against our will. I shall resist with every fiber of my being, any attempts by government to break my free spirit and the spirit of that of other free Americans as well.

I shall not bow down to the socialists who use the government to reward those that are undeserving, with the sweat of MY brow, MY blood and MY tears. I shall not bow down to the environmentalists who use the government to pass laws to rob me of my constitutional rights and cry "the-sky-is-falling" with their man-caused global warming fraud. I shall not bow down to a government that gives amnesty to illegal aliens, with the sole purpose of using my taxes to buy the votes of lawbreakers, in order to entrench their political power. I shall not bow down to laws, rules, regulations and ordinances that repeal my unalienable, God-given rights of freedom and liberty.

As a free man, I reject any laws that violate the sacred rights granted to all Americans by our God and our Constitution. I refuse to abide by federal and state supreme court rulings that fly in the face of common law, common sense and that repeal constitutional safeguards.

As a free man, hear my cry against all the laws and acts by every level of government every day of the year, that moves us ever deeper into absolute bondage ..... laws that strip us of our individuality and attempt to meld us into a mindless collective ..... laws that bind our hands and feet so that we cannot move in the cherished "light" of freedom.

I shall fight with all of my heart and soul to stop attempts by this and future governments to merge America, the one remaining shining beacon in a troubled and unstable world, into a North American Union, or the dreaded one-world-order. For without a free, prosperous, powerful and sovereign America, the world has no chance and will descend into chaos. Should America's power and our prosperity evaporate, or become irrelevant, or we sink into third-world depravity, evil will fill the vacuum and evil will rule the world. Just imagine for one minute that China or Russia became more powerful than the United States. Who or what would save us then?

As a free man, I bow down to no man or no government who would tear down the very fabric of our liberty and render us nothing more than serfs to a government fiefdom. America is the world's last remaining hope and if we do not defend the promise of its freedom and liberty, we will be complicit in its demise, to the detriment of every man, woman and child who walks this Earth and looks to America for guidance and a step closer to freedom.

The ship of America, riding on a bountiful sea of freedom and liberty, has freed over a billion people from tyranny, bondage and slavery. Our military might makes other governments with empirical designs, think twice before adventuring into war with us, or others we protect. We dare not let down our guard for one second. We dare not reduce our military power to the point that other nations might be tempted to challenge us. We dare not be detoured down the path of socialism and remove the one ingredient that makes us the most prosperous, industrious, creative, powerful and generous nation on Earth, our freedom.

If Americans bow down to government tyranny today, tomorrow or ever, all that was won by the sacrifices of our Founding Fathers and the colonials that gave everything to establish our freedom and all the brave men and women who gave their lives, their limbs and their minds thereafter to defend our freedom, will have been for naught.

We ask all who consider themselves sovereign Americans to join with us in this open, peaceful resistance against a government that has forgotten that its solemn duty is to protect individual, God-given rights and to protect Americans from all enemies, foreign and domestic, even if that domestic enemy is the government itself.

We hereby, on this day, warn government, at all levels, that you will not be successful in the slow, insidious enslavement of the American people and the consequences of your attempts to do so will be dire indeed. We need not go to war with you. We only need to peacefully unravel the corrupt institutions you have established and replace them with the original institutions of liberty that is our birthright. Be advised that it does not take a majority to accomplish this. It only takes an irate minority willing to lay it all on the line for freedom. It's been done before and it can be done again.

This November, the first order of business for all patriots is to dump the con man and snake-oil salesman that slithered his way into the oval office by promising HOPE and CHANGE, that turned out to be Obama's HOSTILITY and CONTEMPT for individual rights, freedom, liberty and American sovereignty.

If WE don’t save this nation, nobody will!

It was more than sixty years ago when Americans were told to pass along to future generations, the politically correct but otherwise insane notion that we should avoid at all cost the open discussion of politics, religion and money, for fear of offending someone and upsetting the 24/7 cocktail party.

Sixty years later, few in America know anything about their country, their political system, the religion of freedom or the fiscal policies, which are the difference between the most prosperous free nation on earth and national bankruptcy. I know, shocking results, right…

As if only Nostradamus could predict the outcome of such overtly foolish advice, I attempted to raise the right question in a May 2006 column titled Are Americans Too Stupid to Run Their Own Country?

Americans answered that question in the following two election cycles, also warned against in my October 2006 column, When 51-49 becomes 49-51. My hit rate is better than that of Nostradamus at this point. But frankly, I was only predicting the inescapable outcome which every American should have been able to predict.

By November 2008, our nation had indeed become a nation in which the fools outnumbered the well-informed, at least in terms of active voters. Those who know nothing of history have doomed the rest of us to relive it.

End of discussion—the results are in—many Americans are indeed too stupid to remain free.

Thomas Jefferson warned more than 200 years ago, “Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.”

He was right, and the “New Deal” America of increasing federal dependency has created a society of immoral, unethical, self-centered fools fit only for the designs of ambition. In other words, a nation which could be relied upon to elect corrupt elitists who would one day squander the resources of the wealthiest nation on earth, in the false promise of a “greater communal good,”—in an attempt to vote themselves more gifts from the public trough.

In 2008, over 69 million Americans voted for “hope” without even asking what kinds of “change” a Messiah with a blank resume had in mind for the once free republic. They gave up their future of freedom in “hopes” of more “free stuff.”

But almost 60 million other Americans voted against a rush into unbridled Marxism under the rule of the Democratic Socialists of America and their two congressional leadership councils, the Congressional Progressive Caucus established in 1991 by Representatives Ron Dellums (D-CA), Lane Evans (D-IL), Peter DeFazio (D-OR), Maxine Waters (D-CA), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT). - And the Congressional Black Caucus, formed by card carrying Communist John Conyers in 1971.

Additional House representatives have joined the ranks, including Major Owens (D-NY), Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), David Bonior (D-MI), Bob Filner (D-CA), Barney Frank (D-MA), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Jim McDermott (D-WA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Patsy Mink (D-HI), George Miller (D-CA), Pete Stark (D-CA), John Olver (D-MA), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA), and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Today, our nation is run by these folks and most Americans are just too stupid to connect the dots. They fail to recognize that communism and socialism are NOT “progressive” ideas. They are “totalitarian” concepts intended to enslave societies, not liberate them.

These are the concepts of people like Karl Marx, not Thomas Jefferson or James Madison and as such, they are wholly anti-American and even unconstitutional. Still, 69 million Americans voted these third world thinkers into unbridled power in 2008 and now many are trying to figure out what to do about it.

Almost 60 million voters saw it coming and voted against it. Nearly a year into unbridled Marxist policies later, over 70% of American’s now say they are “angry” with what the federal government is doing to their free republic, 46% identifying themselves as “VERY ANGRY!”—According to Rasmussen Reports

So not every American is too stupid to be free. But are the Americans smart enough to oppose Marxism too spineless to stop it?

They gathered at Tea Parties, Town Halls and 912 events to protest the utter destruction of their nation. They wrote letters, emails, and blogged, signing petitions and demanding to be heard. But nobody in DC is listening and they can’t figure out why…

The American people are in charge of their government, but even the angry ones don’t remember how. They think they are limited to their vote, protests, letter writing and petitions that nobody bothers to read.

Seventy years after being told never to discuss politics, religion or money, they find that they know nothing about politics, little about our nation’s religious foundation, or how to manage money or the people who have made a career of mismanaging their money.

Even they angry Americans may be too ill-informed or too spineless to live free in the 21 Century.

For this reason, I remind my fellow Americans that the future of their nation does NOT depend upon what a handful of Marxists in Washington DC do, but rather what millions of patriotic Americans choose to do about it.

I remind you that “all politics are local…” as in, your power exists at the local precinct, and together with other patriotic Americans, we have launched www.NationalPrecinctAlliance.org in order to place that powerful tool back in the hands of the American people, so that they can directly engage in the eleventh hour effort to reclaim control of their country.

I remind you that unlike any other nation on earth, if America ceases to be free, then no nation on earth will be free. If America ceases to be safe and secure, then no nation on earth will be safe or secure.

I write this to remind Americans that the future has always been in our hands, but that more than protests and petitions are required to secure that future now.

I write to tell you that we are in the eleventh hour and that only YOU can save this nation from those who intend its total ruin.

I couldn’t care less who might be offended by this column or any other I write. I am fully aware of the sad reality that not all who call themselves “American” are in fact “American” today, starting with our current resident of the people’s White House. The opinions of those who stand against my country are meaningless to me.

But for all who still love and revere the power of freedom, I call upon you to stand as one, united in the common defense of individual freedom and liberty, and DO something tangible to save freedom for future generations here and abroad.
